My blender shut off during use. What happened?

As a safety precaution, when the jar is removed from the base during blending, the motor will shut off. This also applies even if slightly lifted unintentionally. It may also shut off when the built in fuse protection has engaged. To turn the blender back on, first turn the control knob to “Off” and unplug the unit from the wall. Then remove the jar from the base and free the blade of any obstructions. Next, press the external reset fuse button on the bottom of the base. Wait 30-45 minutes for the unit to cool.

My unit is fairly loud during operation. Is this normal?

Due to the power of the machine, this is normal.

My Unit is plugged in, but it won't turn on.

An interlock prevents the motor from starting if the jar is not properly placed on the base. Be sure the control knob is turned to ‘Off’ position when the jar is placed on the base.

The blade is attached to the blender, how do I clean it?

Fill jar halfway with warm water and add 2 drops of liquid soap. Place lid on jar with filler cap in position. Turn dial on a “Low” speed and then increase to “High”. Run for 30-60 seconds. Turn the machine OFF, rinse the jar and lid with running water, then dry.
