Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have used this for the past two years... The wife and I purchased the French Door oven in late 2018 as a Christmas gift to ourselves. We have had absolutely no problems with the functioning of this oven. The convection operation is a breeze! (See what I did there?) The only improvement I could suggest is a silicone seal on each of the glass doors to keep the heat inside of the unit. There is a slight gap between the doors when closed. It would also be nice if there was a comprehensive user manual and a cookbook included. The manual leaves a LOT to be desired and there is no cookbook at all. But these are minor annoyances. As we say down South... Oster, Y'all done good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, Compact AND so efficient! The Oster Convection Oven with French Doors is so efficient in cooking or baking! I baked all my Christmas cookies and in between was able to make dinner for my kids in our regular non-convection oven. I'm just so impressed with this COUNTERTOP, yes COUNTERTOP oven, it doesn't take up too much space and it thouroughly cooks everything to perfection along with having a beautiful stainless steel finish. After all my cooking for the last month I have owned this it isn't even that terribly dirty. I have cleaned it and it was simple to clean as well, it's almost like the newest microwave but for thourough convection cooking! I highly recommend this oven it's beautiful and compact and most of all efficient.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed at Oster I have used a lot of appliances from Oster and are happy with them but this oven is just disappointing. I received this as a gift but right out of the box I noticed that both the top and bottom elements don’t burn red at all. But this is the first oven that I own and I honestly don’t use oven much, so not knowing any better I though that this is normal. During this pandemic I started baking more and every time I would notice that it takes me double the time any recipes require me to. So I bought a oven thermometer and it turns out the temperature is severely under! So I called customer service and they told me that there’s nothing they can do for me and questioned me how come I don’t contact them when I noticed that the elements don’t burn red right out off the box. I explained but they don’t care and then they told me it’s not under warranty no more and that was it. Now I’m stuck with an oven that doesn’t heat up properly right out of the box. But who cares? Certainly not Oster.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty good BUT DISSAPOINTED that there’s no DISSAPPOINTED that Oster didn’t even include a reference cooking manual or a recipe book with this. I have purchased so many tabletop appliances from different makers like Ninja, Emeril, etc etc and they all came with cooking reference guide and recipe book!!!!! And without extra fees!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the price ! After researching this oven along with several others, I chose the Oster because of the size, functions and appearance. Over the years, I have owned several other Oster products and have always been very satisfied with them so I was not hesitant to purchase this oven. I have been using this oven for almost a year now, off and on, so I feel I have become familiar with its operation and have given it a fair chance. As mentioned in other reviews, the touchpad feels cheap and requires multiple touches of the finger to enter time and temperature. After about 2 months, the clock would not keep the correct time so the clock is useless. I can't see any difference in the "Bake" or "Turbo Convection" functions. There is definitely a hot spot in the right rear of the oven, rotating the food does little to prevent food from burning. I have tried adjusting the racks from both positions and no matter what I do my baked goods burn along the edges and the center inside cakes and brownies remains half cooked. I would have to say about the only two things this oven is good for is baking a frozen pizza and making toast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Test Baking Oven I bought this about 5 months ago - I was thinking of buying a full size oven for "our baking lab" (we use it to "test bake" - Muffin Cups) - but bought this instead (I didn't need to install a 220V line and saved a lot of space). The oven has worked tremendously well - nice even bake - almost better than my Wolf oven at home (where I used to do my test baking!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features My first thought when I received the oven was that it would be to big to fit on the countrr. I placed it in the corner on the Counter top and it actually fits pretty good. After using it numerous times over the last few days, I am really pleased the way it performs. I was able to cook from Pizza to Turkey Breast to Cookies to Croisants. Every time it came out perfect and the whole family loved it. I like that it has different pre-programed Settings wgich takes the Guesswork out of it. So far clean up has really been rasy as well, which I really love. Another great feature I like is that you can cook on multiple levels at the same time. Overall I have not found anything negative about the oven.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dangerous to operate - the door mechanism melts This product should be recalled because it is a burn hazard and possibly a fire hazard. I used this oven five times a week on the convection setting, 18 to 25 minutes each time at 400 degrees F maximum to prepare fish sticks, frozen pizza and heat up mac & cheese. After about two years of use the doors stopped staying open by themselves. I found the slider mechanism had melted and disintegrated. To be clear this oven never exceeded 400 degrees in temperature and was never used for longer than 25 minutes at a time. This oven deserves to be recalled because this causes a burn hazard. Many people have reported the doors failing to stay open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits perfectly in a corner We just purchased this oven. So far, it is working exactly as expected. However, based upon the dimensions (21" D), we thought it was going to take up much more counter top space. Actually the back of the oven is curved outward, and includes a spacer to keep a safe distance from the wall. Also the dimension includes the depth of the doors when they are OPEN. We found that it fits perfectly in a corner. It would also work placed perpendicular to the wall.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic melts underneath the hot element Used twice and French doors decided not to work nor stay open. After some inspecting found this melted piece of plastic that holds the door open and makes them open and close together

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice little oven, ruined by shoddy timer Bought this oven a couple of years ago, but it’s at a seasonal cabin and only used for about 3 months a year. We like the size, the French doors (even though they have a habit of slamming shut) and the various cooking formats. After the equivalent of about a years use, the timer switch stopped working properly. Now, instead of stopping at “0”, it continues ticking until it reaches the “stay on” position. As a result, I now have to unplug it when we’re done using it, or it will turn itself back on. And apparently, there are no repair tarts available. So, it’s use an unacceptable oven, or buy a new one. Poor design, Oster? Or was it shoddy workmanship?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If you want to have scars.... I write this review as a warning. I bought that toaster oven in April 2019 and it has been a nightmare. I wrote to Oster and a person even wrote back to me to call him which I did but he never returned my calls when I take out the plates out the door shuts down on my forearms and I got scars all over my upper arms This happens right above the mittens so you will have nothing to protect your arms unless you find mittens that goes up to your elbows. The name of the agent is Aljon so if you get him prepare yourself to never have a call back. Hope this warning will make people understand hoe dangerous this product is and that Oster doesn’t care about simple the safety of their product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant! This little oven is amazing. Our landlords refused to replace a broken oven and we had to find something ourselves out of our own budget. We've had this oven for 6 years and cooked everything in it from Christmas dinner to pizzas and fresh bread, It sits snuggly on our counter top and day after day cooks oven baked goods perfectly. The only thing about it is you have to be careful with the double doors, as they open at the same time and this potentially can be dangerous as you could burn your arm. We.ve been careful and there's been to issues, I highly recommend this appliance for every day baking (we're a family of 3 adults).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! Cooked a 2 lb. beef roast using the convection in 1hour but could have gone only 50 mins.for med. rare. Oven is easy to use ,and during the hot summers, is light enough to move outside on the deck. Love it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not safe or reliable. I have burnt my arm twice on the oven doirs-tbey don't stay open but start to close when you pull things out. One was a third degree burn, thankfully I don't have kids around as a teenager burnt their hand on the door 10 minutes after it was turned off while moving a Tupperware container that was placed on top of the oven started melting. Before the burns, put a thermometer in the oven to make baked goods, and the temperature never reached the temp on the dial until it was turned up another 50 degrees, and then it burned in some spots and barely browned in others. So now it's just used for roasting things or reheating pizzas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced the standard oven! I want the folks working at Oster to know….you are appreciated! We ditched our microwave over 5 years ago and put an Oster countertop convection oven in its spot….we have never looked back. We ditched the basket air fryer and upgraded our Oster… We love it! We can put multiple items in this oven and air fry a dinner for two without batch cooking. I like the light, nice addition, I like to keep an eye on the progress since I am new at air frying…. We like the rack spacing for convection cooking and the French doors are wonderful, as compared with the pull down door. This is a well thought out machine and we look forward to years of service from it! Thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good This is my second even and I have the same issue of the broiler does not work on either of the ovens I have had. Also the timer switch stopped working on this oven as the first oven. I have had to make adjustments with a little inconvenience. Other than these issues the oven is great. I have made many turkey and roast dinners my oven. I use it all the time, almost daily. People are so surprised with what I am able to make with this oven. Very convenient and you can make whatever you could make in a traditional oven. I just wish that the timer button would not keep breaking (I have to watch the oven with this broken)and be able to use then broiler function.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from French doors don’t open together Got this as gift, while ago. Have not used it, because the door spring is apparently broken and the doors only open manually one at a time and will not remain open. I’m certain that it is now out of warranty, but I’m hoping for some advice from Oster as to a solution. I would try to just use it as is, requiring holding one door while placing food inside, or pulling out a rack enough to jam the doors open but this seems unsafe. Also peculiar is the missing photo and info from the website, as I can’t find reports of recall anywhere and. Many retailers still sell the oven.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's Better than I Thought it Would be! After using this for a few months now, I have not had any negative with this oven. It's safer, easier to use and so much better than our stove's oven. The crumb catcher is great, but so far we've only had one drip of melting cheese from a pizza cooked on the rack. We've baked homemade brownies, a couple small roast, seafood, fries, and so much more, all to perfection. Also it does not put the heat out like that kitchen appliance I no longer use. Yes I recommend this100%.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great oven small package When I first pulled the oven out of the packaging I thought "how could this substitute my gas oven". Boy was I wrong. This thing is awesome to use. I find myself using it more often than my standard oven. I really loved the fact that it's convection and cooks things evenly unlike my standard gas oven. One small thing to note though is be careful with little kids around it. The glass door can get very hot and is not insulated like a traditional oven but as long as you set it back from the counter and out of reach you will be fine. One thing to note is that the version I received is a evaluation version so the final product may vary slightly. Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from What's Up With All The Beeping? I got my oven about 4 months ago. Great oven. The whole family likes it. I can only give it 3 stars though. It SIMPLY BEEPS TO MUCH!!!! One beep would be sufficient. Even that is too many. The light goes off and it stops when its done cooking. I can see. I don't need the thing to yell at me over and over again with its pattern of 3 beeps again and again. Yes, you can stop the beeper. But you CANNOT disable it. If you are an early riser you have to stand by the thing while it cooks your bagel otherwise you'll wake the whole family! WAY TOO MANY BEEPS!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty but not functional I was excited when I upgraded my toaster oven to this double rack, French doors oven. Unfortunately, because the oven light cannot be turned off, it bakes unevently. The spot under the light is hotter and my baked goods never cooked evenly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great oven ! I love my oven. It works great. The only issue I had was not realizing the bottom of the oven was not a sealed unit and my scalloped potatoes ran over the bottom tray and under the bottom lining of the oven. I cannot figure out how to get it apart to clean under there. Perhaps the operating manual could give a cooking chart with times etc.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke in 3 months I received this for Christmas and I’ve had issues with the doors sticking when closing it for the past month. Today I’m at the point it won’t close at all. I am going to have to buy something new because I use my countertop oven almost every day. There are features I liked with this although just as a warning to anyone looking for a countertop oven with French doors - I have burnt myself was too many times but that’s not the ovens fault. That’s on me but there is a learning curve if you’re not used to the doors opening like this. Well I guess I won’t have to worry about that anymore since the doors won’t close. At all. I certainly can’t use it with doors wide open. So beware it is pretty and features are good but don’t expect a long life.
