Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke! I bought this in mid March of this year and have used it maybe 4 or 5 times with last week being the last time. While beating a simple cake mix, something clicked and out flew a piece of metal... something still makes noise inside. I’m lucky to have pulled the piece of metal out of the batter!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Oyster 6 speed hand mixer I have LOVED this mixer. Lots of power and super dependable. Just having issues with the beaters of the machine. Both have now broken and I would love to get replacement parts for it! Looking but unable to find. I would recommend this mixer…just wish they came up with some fix for the beaters!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful mixer Bought this about a month ago. Used it for the first time last week to mix cake mix etc. Very powerful and has lots of speed. Works great. It does have a little weight to it, it’s heavier than my other mixers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beater warped and bent Had this for about a year. I bought it because it looked sturdy. Sadly I have had it for about a year and one of the beaters suddenly broke becoming detached from the centre post at the end. The Moyer seems good and the internal mechanism seems good compared to other beaters I have had, but one year is not very long for the life of a beater. Very sad. I tried looking for a replacement part for it but could couldn’t find one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken beaters This was a decent mix master until the beaters literally broke apart i to several pieces while making mashed potatoes for Christmas dinner. Small metal pieces everywhere. Wish I had a photo to share but I was so upset and had so much company, the remaining pieces went straight into the garbage with the potatoes. DO NOT BUY THIS MIXER. THE ATTACHMENTS ARE VERY LOW QUALITY AND DANGEROUS.

I've never used the dough hook, can't find the manual to make sure I'd be using it correctly. Is it possible to get the manual (no idea where mine is, even though we always keep all manuals together in a bag which is in the same drawer. This is mine: Oster hand mixer manual fpsthmon 1W-33A

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Color me disappointed also My mixer totally ignores speeds 1&2 and starts on speed 3 .. way too fast fir mixing in flour,Icing sugar, and all liquids. Consequently I am cleaning my baking off the backsplash and coffeemaker and me!!! So aggravating! It is a bit heavy as I am old and my wrists have arthritis so I don’t care for the heaviness. really this product needs to go back to the drawing board!

The first and second speed of this mixer is so high, that instead of mixing and beating for example butter it just spreads the butter all around the bowl and splashes all around the kitchen although I use the deep bowl. I am tired to clean and struggle with this machine.

The other day I used it and it worked fine but when I ejected the beater and went to change the attachment none of the beaters would stay locked in. It is very disappointing that this product lasted for such a short period of time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too fast! I bought this about a year ago. It looked great: 6 speeds and a retractable cord, what more can you ask for? There is a major problem however, even at the lowest speed, 1, it is so fast that beating anything with flour will redecorate your kitchen in white! - and there is no way to slow it down.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broke exactly 1 month after warranty expired It had served us well under medium home use as we also have Kitchen Aid stand mixer for the more heavy duty use. Unfortunately, exactly one month after the warranty expired one of the beaters can longer attach to the unit and falls off immediately. Quite disappointing. Built in obsolescence?

I was so excited to use this mixer when I first purchased it, however, only after 1 use both the beater attachments broke and now I am basically left with just the whisk and dough attachment. Very disappointing as this mixer wont be of any use to me without the beaters.
