Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed customer I bought this blender Sept 2020 and Oct 15th,2021 I was beating butter, sugar and eggs to make a cake and one of the beaters metal snapped and I had batter all over me and the kitchen. I see from reading other reviews that same happened. This blender lasted one year how stupid. I will never buy another product from Oster. You have a one year warranty and I am certain your company knows that this is happening and doing nothing about it. I personally would appreciate you sending me the beater to replace the broken one. But your company will not, so you have lost a customer which I am inclined to think the company doesn't care.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A little of a disappointment I bought this a year ago when my old hand mixer that I had used happily for 15 years finally gave way. I was so looking forward to using this. I am however disappointed because it goes straight to speed 3 and bypasses 1 & 2. I am constantly cleaning my backsplash and the areas around. Today I cursed as I had so much cleaning up to do when the whisk wire snapped in the midst of whipping my egg whites..... And that is sticky! On the floor... On the back splash... All over the place! Plus... I have only used the whisk a dozen times and now need a new one. Wishing I hadn't bought this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Mixer, but possibly cheap attachments I got this mixer at least a few years ago & have been loving it except for today. I was using the whisk to beat some egg whites for my dessert recipe and suddenly (near the end, thank goodness), suddenly egg whites were spitting on my shirt & I realized that the whisk suddenly snapped & broke. I have taken a picture. I really want to continue to use this hand mixer, but just would need a new whisk attachment. It's a good thing it didn't snap off entirely & go flying to cause an injury. Rated 1 out of 5 by from My beaters keep breaking and there is no low speed I love the fast speed on this mixer and the retractable cord. However the crazy lowest speed just makes a mess for initial mixing. Also, my beaters which have been used probably 15 times broke right away and continue to come apart in various places.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a quality item. We bought this hand mixer exactly one year ago. It has been used maybe a dozen times for cake or cookies. I was looking forward to trading up to a bit more power and the dough hooks and whisk (never been used) seemed a nice touch. As another reviewer stated, there is no level 1. It goes straight from jet engine to rocket launch. We have had a problem with it turning cake batter into mousse even set at 1. Now, a beater has broken and, replacement parts are, apparently, no longer available. Supplier and model number are also very hard to track down.
