Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible kettle This kettle has to be one of the worst purchases I've ever made. The filter never stayed in place from day one, and within months it started leaking from the glass water reservoir. That is a fire hazard I'm surprised there hasn't been a recall. There would be water all over my counter. When contacting the company (that's if you can even get them on the phone) they're answer is useless and unhelpful. This was my first Oster purchase and I've learned my lesson for it to be my last.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaking kettle I bought this kettle in May 2019 and it started to leak water from the bottom after just 2 months, which is very frustrating. I brought back to Walmart where I originally bought it and after going trough all customer service agents, finally the manager agreed to replace it back in November 2019. After 2-3 months started to leak again. I’ve bought Oster appliances in the past but I’m so frustrated and very disappointed as the same problem occurring.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from very Disappointing I bought this just before christmas and I noticed that it leaks at the bottom of the viewing window. And today I discovered it has a ring of rust inside the bottom. Stainless steel should not rust right? I called them today at 5 pm and though their web site says 6 pm they said they were closed. Though I love the colour and the cool light and the fact that it heats up well i am feeling very miss led and disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointing I had an Oster electric kettle for over 10 years, and when I needed a new one I decided to buy the same brand. I bought the pretty Candy Apple kettle and was quickly disenchanted. The automatic shut-off mechanism sometimes worked, sometimes not -- which made it very unsafe because the kettle could boil dry. I returned the Oster kettle to the store and bought another brand. The end of Oster for me.

Considering it was replacing an Oster kettle that I had used for over 15 years, I was not impressed with this model despite its good looks and sturdy feel. I was, however, very impressed with the service I received and quick replacement when I contacted the company. Thanks, Oster!

It is leaking at the bottom window when the water it is over the window...... I bought this Kettle cause I like the color..... And I also thought oster was a good product... Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken in less than 6 months and safety issue I bought this less than 6 months ago. And I loved it. Until it just started to boil forever. The button to start/stop doesnt retrack even after it has boiled and the whole kettle gets burning hot (even the plastic handle). My daughter got burned as she touched the handle. It also started leaking at the bottom. I am so disappointed, money wasted here, plus the danger of it burning people.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Kettle I bought this kettle a few months ago and it it the worst kettle I have ever had, only Bought this kettle a couple of months ago and it partly boiled and the red paint chipped around the top.  Sent it back for replacement and I am getting the runaround from Oster. Will never buy anything from Oster again.

Filled it with water, went to turn it on and the counter top was covered in water. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend this product to anyone.

Very saddened , I had a previous one that was beautiful, and worked well, used multiple times a day.however The new one I got right before winter holidays, is already having issues, the auto shut off doesn’t work! Not even a year of use! So frustrated. We shall see if my email gets help or not
