Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bowl cover broken We have had this unit for two years and have had a lot of success. Today, the bowl cover stopped working, so it's now useless. The vertical shaft will no longer rotate the blades in the bowl.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORTHLESS CHOPPER ATTACHMENT! I can't for the life of me separate the lid from the chopper bowl. The support person mentions that this is NOT a twist off lid...well, even that extra strength they mention for separate is not working. This is absolutely ridiculous and the problem is apparent for this unit with MANY individuals. What a fail in design and support. NEVER again purchasing anything from Oster.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love it but parts missing. I bought this over a year ago and use the hand blender for a lot of my soups and mash. Very good machine. I've even made mayonnaise. I wanted to start using the chopper which I haven't used since the day I bought the package and the blade is missing. Is there a way you can send me the blade? I wanna start making some salsa and take advantage of my cool little unit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I had this in Chile and now in Canada, both very good, with the difference that in Chile the same product had a whipper too. Do you have that attachement? It would be complete!!! I really like this product, in Chile my mom still using it, already have 6 year, and the one I got in Canada has 2 years now. Never a problem! Sometimes just hard to open the chopper

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design! I bought it a few weeks ago and used it a couple of times only. I used a blender for making buttermilk from curd. Within a minute it started to noise and the plastic rotator is burned so quickly. also very poor design for the cup lid. Extremely unhappy and never recommended this product for our routine kitchen useage.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The weak link I loved this product, but can now only use it with the chopper when my main reason for buying it was to blend soups with the immersion blender. The plastic ring holding the shaft is gone. I hope no one swallowed it! And Oster's claims about replacement parts being available are untrue, at least in Canada.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Chopper attachment I have had this product for a while at the cottage but it was the first time I ever needed the chopper attachment. It worked quite well but when finished I put it in the sink to wash. It was soaking for 10 minutes or so but when I went to dry it, there was water in the top part of the chopper. No way to get it out. I called support and while the woman was very nice and polite, after checking with her supervisor what to do, they asked me to send a picture of the top of the chopper. I was a bit confused because they must know what it looks like. She then said they need to see where the water is. I told her I can't see the water, I can only hear it swishing around. So basically, if you get water in the chopper lid, you are out of luck. I will be trying to dismantle it, then reglue it as I do not want moldy water possibly leaking into any future food I chop. I would recommend the main blender part but don't get the chopper attachment unless you never have to give it a good wash.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working after 3 months I bpught this 3 months ago, now the chopper doesnt work anymore, I tried with my friend's tool of same belnder, seems that the lid of chopper isnt working anymore, and I cant even seem to find one online. Now just because of the lid I need to buy the entire product again which makes no sense.

Unfortunately I don't have the receipt for using guaranty. I need work with the bowl but I can not. Would you please support me?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap quality, broke in two months It’s made of cheap material. I hardly used it for 4-5 times and it’s broken. The part where chopping bowls blade is attached is broken. I was chopping onions when it broke. It’s useless now. I do not recommend it to anybody. I don’t know what is the warranty for it. Feeling cheated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product I havent had any issues with it. Its fairly powerful. the beaker cup is perfect for homemade salad dressing. The chopper is great for salsa and chopping onions which i hate doing by hand. No regrets here

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Incredibly Dissappointing Product First time using it overheated and broke where the blender attachment meets the actual motor. Should have had concerns when I noticed after first opening that the plastic cup to blend in was cracked after having never used it. The worst part is that after 20 seconds of blending a squash soup I spent hours on and was planning to freeze and give to family members (very thin and everything cooked to mush, and never an issue with my previous blender by Oster that had been in my household for years) there were burnt pieces of white plastic everywhere, including in the soup that had to be thrown out. I read the instructions before use and worried that I must have missed a piece after this incident reread them thoroughly a second time - turns out everything was assembled correctly and it's just a poorly made, cheap product. Disappointing from a brand I have always targetted when buying new kitchen appliances, and I will now avoid altogether in the future after this terrible product. Buyer beware, this product is far below quality standards you would expect from any brand, let alone a household name.

It’s a horrible design and took 4-5 uses before I got the hang of getting it on and off. I recently found a small food processor to replace my 25 yo Cuisi that sadly died. The beaker and bowl lids are a nice plus although I’ve never stored anything yet it’s nice to know storage won’t require more plastic wrap or another container to have to wash up. Considering the comparatively low price I paid this is a good little machine. Oster should sort out its design flaws. Thanks to warnings about water getting in to the bowl unit (Wipe it clean before food can dry on it), I have no regrets.
