Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful oven Just received my replacement. The air fryer sounded like a jet taking off in the first one. Now this one did too after 3 times testing it. After that the fan doesn’t go on at all. Total PAIN to have to repack this HUGE oven and carry to the shipper AGAIN. Don’t buy this oven.rate it a zero.

Tried Panko crusted shrimp and the family loved them. downloaded the recipe book and can't wait to try other recipes in it.

Downloaded Oster recipes book - good, but lacking in details on how to use all the function of this oven. I miss the estimated times charts for cooking/baking/air fry/dehydration. i.e. Toast auto to 4 is you use this setting the toast is burnt - 1 is heated 2 - maybe 3- semi burnt - I guess I'm looking for a manual with better instructions - Oster should have sent the recipe book with the oven. Base line I think I'm going to enjoy the oven with more use and experiments with food.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly Designed Doors I bought this toaster oven last year TSSTTVFDDAF - Digital French Door Air Fry Oven. As a disclosure, I am not positive about the time frames, but it has been about 1yr since we 1st purchased our original oven. The doors started having issues when trying to close them. They would get stuck in the open position, and it would take a lot of trouble to get them closed. It got harder each time this occurred. Before they it got too bad, we started getting an error code that had something to do with the mechanism that prevented the overheating of the oven. I called Oster and they agreed to replace the unit. We have this 2nd oven for about 6 months and the doors have begun to stick open again. After numerous attempts to close them, we have been able to get them closed but today we are unable to close the doors. If you can't close the doors of a toaster oven, it becomes a useless countertop decoration. When it works, it is an amazing appliance. We use ours multiple times daily, but the headache is not worth it any longer. We will but another toaster oven, just not an Oster brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love my 'noisy' little oven I bought this oven a couple of months ago and love all its features and size. However, the oven is very noisy, not only while it is heating up but while it is cooking. It sounds like a rat tat tat the entire time it is on. It sounds like someone is learning to play the drums over there in the kitchen. It is even very audible in another room. I love its functionality so much that I hesitate to return it. Is it supposed to be so noisy? I would still rate it a 5 star for the oven part of it and would only detract 1 star for the noise it makes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Trial and Error This oven is beautiful. It looks great on my counter, but I have not used it very much, mainly because I feel like there’s no real user manual. It came with a “user’s manual”, but I feel like it did not tell me how to cook anything. It just had a chart on how long to cook different foods. I’m still not sure how to make certain things in it, I just mainly guess or look on line, & that’s kind of a hit & miss. I am not very tech savvy AT ALL, so I feel like I need exact step by step directions on things. It seems like the manufacturers, Oster, just assumes everyone knows how to automatically operate this oven, but I don’t. I wish directions were more clear and exact. The things I have made in it, mostly French fries & frozen pizza, have been very good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little disappointed I bought this (TSSTTVFDDAF) couple months ago, sometimes the back gets darker faster then whatever is in the front, also the air fryer rack wish it was basket, everything falls off on the back and the sides, also it would have been great if there was a recipe book with it , I’m tempted to return it , if I can’t find basket air fryer instead of the flat rack

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't work out of the box I bought the French Door Air Fry Oven and was excited to receive it and was looking forward to trying the Air Fry function. Got it all set up and come to find out the digital buttons did not work. I understand that things happen and this may not be the norm. With that being said I contacted Oster and was given a shipping label to send it back and receive a replacement. All still fine and again I was ok with the process. (hindsight being 20-20) I should have taken it back to where I bought it and either exchanged it for another one or just got my money back. Why? Because this is Oster's response after I shipped it ...We understand that you are in need of a replacement. Unfortunately this product is currently unavailable, but we are happy to replace it with an oven maker that is similar and one that is available... Really? Would have be nice to know BEFORE I sent it back to be replaced. Gave it 2 stars rather than 1 because it is or was nice looking.

It would also be nice if they had a guide on how to cook on the different features. Usually an item like this comes with sample recipes and a replacement part list. I’ve looked all over the internet and cannot find any.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not What We Expected We saw a display model in the store and thought it would make a great replacement for our old Oster Convection oven because it had an air fry feature and came with an air fry basket. The unit that was shipped to us only came with a flat air fry tray, minimal operating instructions, doors that wouldn't stay open or closed unexpectedly while sliding in a tray, uneven heating, and controls/functions that were not the most convenient. Whenever you press the time button to set the cooking time it jumps to 30 minutes and then you have to hold the button down until it scrolls to the desired cooking time. When cooking finishes and the unit turns off it beeps twice every few seconds until you press the cancel button which is very annoying. On the plus side, it does pre-heat very quickly and lets you know when its fully heated, but the timer doesn't display as per the instructions. Instead you have to press the start button again to have it display and start the cooking timer.

I wasn't in the room when it happened but I heard it.only one door exploded didn't have any flaws prior to that.I'm the only user, so i know it wasn't mishandled.

Fresh out the box it never turned on, and even taking it to another place it never turned on either. It looks beautiful and I would have loved to use it but it’s just taking up space now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and Easy! My husband bought this a few weeks ago, and we haven't used anything else since! We bought one for my sister just days later, and she loves it too! My biggest suggestion for change is the beeping sound it makes. We have 2 very laid back dogs, but for some reason the beeping sound this makes when plugging in and such, they hate it! Our older dog runs in to the bedroom to hide... a more pleasant ding or song might be good? Just throwing it out there! We seriously love it, but our dogs don't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE!!l I have the older brand of the French Door oven and I am in love with it. I want to up grade to the newer version but I have a question. Are extra racks and fryer baskets available for replacement parts?? I ran into a problem getting replacements parts for my older version I own and want to get replacements for this newer one while available, can you buy extra rack and fry basket because some times I will need two racks or mmm two fryer baskets??? I LOVEE this oven so much, it is my only oven that is how much I love it. Hoping to try this new version soon as soon as I can save enough money back from my Social Security. Buy it you will not be disappointed. If I had a complaint it would be the timer Automatically turning the oven off when timer is up and would like to see the timer set longer then 90 mins.

I have a tiny kitchen, I had to move my microwave to my office as I only use it to warm up my bean bag thing for aches and pains. Then I was not impressed with the fact that the outside of it got warm. The first time I turned it on I had convinced myself it was going to burn my house down. But some part of my rational thinking brain said to slowly try it out. I started with French frys. And have worked my way up to roasting. It does get a little warm but I have it in a corner of my countertop where nothing is near it and it’s pulled way out from the wall. It’s actually the third air fryer that I’ve owned and it’s the best one. The more I use this monster the more I really understand why it was made the way it was and there nothing like it on the market that I know of.

Got a new one that worked perfectly like the last except for the door. Well, guess what!!! The door stuck open. after a fight and finally, get it closed and the door broke again and won't fully close. Will not be buying or sending this thing back for a new one just like. I actulally ant a refund for it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great countertop oven Had oven about a month and I am now using it almost every day. +'s are that it has all the different modes (Broil, Toast, Air Fry, etc.) It is easy to put food in and take food out with the large doors. The only -'s I really have is that I wish the "buttons" were easier to read. The flat front requires you to get down to read the buttons, I guess after a while I will know which is which without looking.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks beautiful but.... Loved how beautiful this oven is and the internal size... Have owned for a few months and must say I feel like it was a waste of money. Oven doesn't heat up to set temperature, you have to set it for 25-50 degrees higher than desired cooking temperature.... Also the clock loses time. Have to reset it on a weekly to bi weekly basis. Unless you want an oversized toaster oven DO NOT PURCHASE this oven.

That being said, there are three issues: the LCD screen and controls are just too compact and a little difficult to use; the French doors don't stay open and often snap back close on my hands burning them; the grease tray/crumb tray is not deep enough to be effective. Again, still the best one out there! Use it all the time!

I saw the new features and wanted to upgrade. I just got my new upgraded one today and love it. I can't wait to use it. I see it is supposed to preheat faster. Since it is just me, it is perfect and don't have a need to use the regular oven.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product only one flaw Bought this for my mother to replace her toaster oven.it is almost twice the size of her old one. She uses it multiple times a week and is almost completely satisfied with it.The only issue she has with it is the drip pan being raw aluminum and almost impossible to get clean. I would suggest to the producer to coat the drip pan with a nonstick coating for easy cleaning.

The manual does reference a basket, but they gave you an airfry tray instead, which does not even fit the entire oven. also missing a pause button. Another shelf is also a must-have IMO. These items were left out due to costs, which is a shame. I'd like to see these items added

I’ve had the previous xl toaster oven for the past 10 yrs and my whole family uses it every day or so (without the air frying option) and have been waiting for this one with air fryer to come out. where can I get this one? I can’t find a seller
