Oster® French Door Digital Oven with Convection, Stainless Steel is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this oven! This oven is very well designed with beyond the price versatility. A 14 inch pizza pan fits with ease. It handles everything except turkey and large baking sheets. We have 4 cooks in our clan and everyone loves this oven. The convection feature is excellent for making kale chips or reheating fries. A redesign might consider these changes: • More even distribution of the convection over the food. It's focused on the right side, requiring rotation of food to avoid over-browning. • A stronger door spring to avoid the doors closing on the arms as you reach in. •Who needs 16 beeps to announce 'time is up'? •More shelf height options. We use our large oven > 50% less since buying this Oster product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent oven replacement. I’m moving into a multigenerational hone where there isn’t wiring for a regular oven in the basement kitchenette. This oster convention oven is perfect. It’s about half the size of a full oven. It is big enough for everyday life even when the grandkids come for supper! The cooking temperature is accurate (I verified with an oven thermometer) in both oven bake and convection modes. Great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb pizza, toast and baking even dehydrating We have had this oven for a couple of months and it has really exceeded my expectations. We cook a lot and have a well equipped kitchen...delighted with the value this appliance adds .. the pizza setting is perfect for my homemade pizza with our own dough. I bake it in a cast iron pan on the pizza setting.perfect every time. I also love the dehydrating cycle roasting and toasting are fantastic too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broken after 4 years I bought this at Costco about 4 years ago. Did not really Need one as the one I had was about 15 years old and thought it was time for a new one. Loved the French doors and the size. It fit perfectly on my counter but recently it stopped heating. The light goes on but no heat. So disappointed as I miss my grilled cheese. It almost brand new as we don’t use it too often but really miss it now. Will Never buy another oster oven

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love It! I love this oven, but noticed while doing my Christmas Baking and using recipes that I have used for years, I had several flops. Recently noticed, the upper element does not appear to be heating up much. Using my oven thermometer it shows 100 Degrees less. On your site trying to find out where to order new element and how to replace. Please get back to me. Thanking you in advance. M. Wickes

Rated 3 out of 5 by from HATED the digital model 5 star concept 3 star upon using. My built-in oven died. I was thrilled to find something big enough to bake bread. My first one of these was digital. I HATED the digital part. When I happened upon the same oven with knobs I bought it on the spot, cleaned up the digital one and sold it. Good riddance to digital nonsense! It drove me batty. There was no halfway fot temp settings etc. So, 2 ½ years later this oven has truly been put to the test! Advertized as being energy saving I call that a scam. It has absolulely NO insulation whatsoever. The “French” doors let out all the heat if you open the door. They are spring loaded and require you to open them full out wide or they spring shut. I got burned a number of times just trying to poke-test things until I jearned. They also prevent you from putting anything down in front of their super wide swath (wider than the oven itself). With no insulation tou can crank up the heat and by the time you put what you’re cooking in and close the doors you’ve lost a lot of heat; cold pan, cold food, wide open doors and you’ve already extended your cooking time. No energy efficiency there. I bought a couple little pizza stones which I often put on the bottom shelf to help hold a bit of heat. Which brings me to shelf heights. There are two shelves and no way to adjust height of either. The top shelf is in the middle of the oven. You cannot toast or broil anything without drying it out or cooking it all the way through. All the toast/broil setting does is turn off the bottom element. I still use my old toaster oven when I want high heat on small items. Because of the big temperature drop on starting I monitor temp with a thermometer. I set it higher than I want to cook for preheat, give it a long preheat. Put the food in and when the temp gets up to where I want to cook, I reset the oven to that temperature. It’s not unusual to lose about 100F just getting started, especially without the stones. In retrospect and with all my “not done yet” experiences I would gladly pay more for an oven with insulation (especially consifering today’s power prises). If you want to broil things buy a cheap baking pan at a dollar stor, turn it upside down on the self and get your food up near the heat. Also in hindsight I’d opt for an oven with pull down door where you can reach in for a pok without loosing all heat. I wanted to buy local, not online. This was the best I could find. Biggest pro for this oven is 3 loaves of bread will fit in it. Results are a bit better with two. It would hold a really big pizza you won’t get the 500F+ results if that’s what you are after. Biggest con is lack of insulation and spring loaded heat losing doors. No springs or doors that worked separately would be an improvement. If you buy one, try to get the knobs. Digital is a pain AND impossible to see in bright light.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Some issues Although I have had this product for some time now and it has many positive features I have finally decided to throw it in the dumpster. It was purchased at Costco and unfortunately have no receipt so I don’t expect help but the door springs seem to be weak and after numerous burns on my arm I have decided it is not for me.
