Rated 4 out of 5 by Debsmorris from Lid broke I love my blender and processer but sadly the part of the lid which secures it to the base snapped off so I now have to hold the lid on each time I use it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by unsatisfied client from Not good quality plastic components The food processor itself was not easy to use. Quite often the plastic components did not seem to fit and, suddenly, they would fit. It was a hit&miss exercise. The plastic cover (not properly fitted) fell from a table and had a couple of pieces broken making unsuitable to be used. In summary, not a good purchase (we purchased it 1 month ago)

Rated 3 out of 5 by dontknow1 from oskar processor had to file the angle that helps the lid close don't know why same as the old one, screw it, it works. got the processor thru stouffers rewards, so didn't want to spend lots to fix it, the shipping is the same as the part you should use the post office probably cheaper

Rated 4 out of 5 by DonnaW from Lid replacement....still available I wanted to write a review on this product, the whole processor, in light of the several negative reviews here. I have owned my processor for quite a few years. I would say I am a casual user and not in need of one of the big, expense machines. I recently had to replace the lid but only because my daughter used it, not understanding the operation, and forced the lid which caused the plastic latching piece to break off. Yes, the lid is plastic, a fairly durable plastic, but it likely won’t survive a drop to a hard floor. I have had no trouble with this processor and it meets my needs from making cookie dough to grinding meat. There are arrows marked along with direction for locking and unlocking on the lid. Also, the manual shows that the base/bowl must be in place first, before attaching the lid. That causes the blade to lift and fit into the lid properly. Then locking the lid is easy and smooth. I was very happy to find that Oster still had the lid part available. It was very economical and arrived quickly. I’m confident I will get many more years of use(casual) from my Oster.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Stef92 from Poor quality lid The tabs that hold the lid on to my food processor broke before I had a chance to use it. I’ve never seen such cheap plastic. Don’t waste your money.
