Rated 5 out of 5 by from There is nothing like glass My Oster blender is about 100 years old and I have NEVER has problems with it, so I was in tears when I dropped the glass jar and broke it. My first thought was to throw the whole thing out, go to the store and purchase whatever is on the market now, but then I thought "go onto Oster's website and see if I can purchase a new jar." I could not believe that not only was the jar available, but it was still available in glass! Thank you Oster for supporting and supplying people with butter fingers. I love my blender.

I was pleasantly surprised to find one online for a reasonable price. Ordering one was straightforward and delivery was within a few days, better than I had expected. Based on my experience, I would buy from Oster (Jarden) again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit my 30 year old blender perfectly Rep could not find my Oster blender model listed but she sure gave it a good try. I ordered online hoping the glass jar would fit by looking at the product photos online. It fit the top lid and bottom blade assembly perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, excellent service. My 30+ year blender had to be replaced ( I foolishly left a metal spoon in it and the jar exploded when I turned the blender on). I was so happy to find I could replace my blender, so inexpensively and quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing these are still available! My mom got an avocado green Osterizer in 1972 with the intention of making my baby food. I was born in May ‘72 and while she didn’t end up making any baby food, this blender has been a part of 46 years of family meal prep. My fiancé (a chef) and I now have the blender and it’s now missing a button but it remains ‘hands down’ the best blender out there. Up until a year ago we still had the original jar... i love that I can still buy replacement parts 46 years later.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Slightly bigger than original, will need a new lid This is just slightly larger at the top than my original (which broker after 40+ years!) so I'll have to buy a new lid. I was disappointed/annoyed when I realized 2 minutes after ordering that I should have also ordered a new gasket for the bottom. I wasn't able to add to my order, or even cancel and re-order both items. Since shipping for the gasket was same as shipping for the Blender Jar ($12.50) I didn't bother, will try to find locally.

I use the blender everything other day so I was heartbroken! I was so thrilled to find this on Oster's website......perfect match, perfect fit, same top quality, excellent value!!!
