Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't cut into bread or confine materials well [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried to give this a few tries with different sandwiches, but it just never worked out. I did give it a couple stars because it gets hot very quickly. However, each time I followed the instructions of greasing up the surface a bit and placing the sandwich into the machine, everything would immediately ooze out and the sandwich would not be cut properly. It came out without any sort of good crisp to it and felt more soggy and unedible. It seems much more efficient to just toast bread in a toaster or place your sandwich on a hot pan for a couple minutes.

I admittedly can't cook - at least not well enough to make a grilled cheese over the stove. Yet, this sandwich maker saves the day and doesn't require major expertise to use. You can easily clean the plates. Also, the bread toasts well no matter how thick it is or how thin. I specifically tested both thinner and thicker bread, and both cook well in this sandwich maker. You can even see on the book other recommended types of sandwiches. You can even make a ham and cheese melt as I did. The sandwich maker also helps to keep the bread from moving too much when the cheese is melting. I loved how it cooks from all angles and makes sandwiches so fast.

My 3 year old son loves grilled cheese sandwiches but only toasted from restaurants and I am always trying to find ways to get him to eat. Since having this sandwich maker I’ve made him so many different variations of sandwiches and so far he’s liked so many! He says they all taste so good because they are warm and in triangles. Which is exactly what this maker does. We all as a family have been enjoying making different sandwich combos to try. The machine is easy to use, small enough to store easily and cleans super easy as well.

While heating up only the red will be lit and when the green is also lit it is ready to use. Great at non stick even without using non stick spray. Browns the sandwich quickly and evenly and melts the cheese for a toast, warm sandwich. It is easy to clean. Easily stored. A couple things I didn't like are, how short the cord is, it would be helpful if it was a little longer. I also didn't like the handle and how it locks. Other than that it is a great product. I do recommend it to others.

I was very disappointed to find out my 2 pieces of meat and 1 piece of cheese made the sandwich to thick for the sandwich maker. I couldn't close the lid all the way and so I had to hold it down and approximate when my sandwich would be done. Then to top it off i had to use a wet towel because the inside doesn't come out to wash.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to make hot sandwiches easier. It does make two sandwiches at once, liked that. I made one grilled cheese for my child and a ham and cheese for me. The latch is not easy to open, so while trying to open the latch the sandwiches burned some. Otherwise tasted good. Since the cheese got all over and leaked out, it made a mess and it was harder to clean the product.

Sometimes the cheese melts into the back of the grill and it's hard to clean it out. It would also be nice if the plates were removable to clean thoroughly. The one great thing is that my 9yr old daughter has learned how to use it and now can make sandwiches for her and her little brother.

My 9 year old nephew had so much fun making all kinds of delicious concoctions to sample. The Diamondforce nonstick surface makes it extremely easy to clean. We truly enjoy trying new things! I honestly can’t imagine life without it now. The plus is that it takes up so little room in the cabinet, but I think it’s taken permanent residency on the counter as we use it so often!
