Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful design but useless and dangerous The waffle iron is striking because of its vertical design, but it's also dangerous because as the batter rises, it tends to open up constantly, resulting in wasted batter.Spills all over the kitchen and very dangerous due to the temperature of the dough being poured over it. This forces you to use it horizontally, like any other traditional waffle iron. Thus losing all its appeal. When used horizontally, the dough tends to spread evenly wherever it is inserted.I really don't recommend it. To be clear, I love the brand and the product quality is very good, but the design is terrible.
