Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not recommend I was given this hand mixer for Christmas 2020. I really didn’t want to complain about this hand mixer because my son gave it to me…so I tried sticking it out….BUT…one year later my beaters are rusting. Now for sure, I can’t use it. The noise level on this hand mixer is crazy! The beaters pop out every once in a while, I believe something is bent inside because the beaters rub each other and makes an even louder noise. I bake a lot and really wanted to love this one but it just doesn’t hold up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the features of this mixer! I have to admit I did not love this mixer at first. I could not get the beaters to stay in. So I thought I would go on Oster's website to see what I was doing wrong. After reading the reviews I saw I wasn't the only one having trouble. I thought there has to be a reason we are all having trouble. So I went and got my mixer. I placed the beaters in and realized if I pressed with the palm of my hand they actually do pop in with a click sound. I love that the mixer is self contained and happy with my mixer!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing machine. I got this for Xmas as I like to bake my own edibles and my mixer has made about 30 batches of cookies since then so it's amazing. The metal arm mixer attachment broke and it makes this high pitched noise if you run it between 3 and 5. Past that I love it. I just need to find a new part.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not safe to use! I received this about 2 months ago and used it quite a bit. Today, I found chips of metal coming off into my food. (I was using a glass bowl to mix) I saw one fairly large piece and wiped it off into the garbage thinking something fell in. After I felt that it was sharp I looked into my food closer and started seeing many little shards (see picture). After inspecting the beater, more little bits of plating started coming off very easily and revealed a very shap edge. I dont know if this happened each time I used this mixer but i used this to prepare my family meals.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from VERY DIFFICULT TO USE I bought this hand mixer and I am so SORRY I did. The beaters are so difficult to insert that I have bruised and injured my hand. Every time I insert the beaters I have to jiggle and pound it in with my hand, sometimes one of the beaters will not insert into the mixer so I just mix with one beater. I am very frustrated with this mixer. I hate it. Also this mixer has 7 speeds, that's nice but the slowest speed is so fast it's like a tornado in the mixing bowl, not very useful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from internal gears have died just after 1 year. we bought this hand mixer from Costco because it had solid reviews.... my wife was baking cookies and the mixer died on her... I took the mixer apart and realized the gears are made of really cheap plastic.... I would never buy this mixer again... not only that, it is impossible to find the cheap replacement pieces(help me OSTER!)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works OK if you get past the NOISE! I bought this a little while ago. I used it once and was overwhelmed by the noise. Other reviews said the noise wasn't that bad. I honestly thought that the mixer was broken. The higher the speed, the louder it gets. I don't think a mixer is supposed to sound like this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design I purchased this mixer and had to have it replaced because the mechanism that holds the beaters inside the mixer broke and the beater would not stay in. The exact same thing happened in the product I received as a replacement. The beaters will not stay in.
