There are 8 different ways to blend including crushing ice which is a favorite for me. I use this for so much especially feeding my infant puréed foods. It has a heavy duty glass container and stainless steel blade making it so easy to clean. I’ve used it to grind up chicken for my dogs and it helps with my picky eaters. I absolutely love this blender!!

The blades and motor are so powerful, I believe it is an 800-watt motor, making the blending and crushing of ice and hard food seem easy! The glass jar is so solid feeling and seems like it will hold up for a long time and multiple uses, and holds about 6 cups of whatever you are making! makes it great for whipping up some salsa or guacamole for a small gathering!!!

Believe it or not—it is quite easy to make green smoothies in a blender like this. The trick is to pulverize the greens in a small amount of water first until thoroughly pulverized, before adding fruit or additional liquids. I love the design of this. The gray looks great in any kitchen. The glass jar is a little wider than my old one, so I feel it does a better job at chopping and pulverizing. It's made of thick, dishwasher safe glass--so I feel confident even putting hot soups in here and blending. The motor is powerful—800 watts is hefty. It has a lot of features and speeds, so you can customize according to your needs. I have no complaints so far.

Probably my favorite feature is the ability to crush ice. Now I can make all kinds of iced drinks and smoothies. The blender jar is easy to clean and the lid comes with a feeder cap that can be used as a measuring cup to make dressings and sauces. I definitely recommend it.

It's easy to use and super easy to clean as you can just put the glass jar in the dishwasher. It's got plenty of power for crushing ice (this is our margarita machine) and is great for making smoothies. The build quality feels good, I especially love the glass jar, feels so much nicer. I would definitely recommend this.

I love to make different types of smoothies with all types of fruits, veggies, and lots of ice. Most of my blenders cracks after a while or just don't chop up the ice like I like it. The price was good, the packaging made it look as though the base was made of metal. Packaging boosted an all-metal drive, 800-watt motor with ice-crushing power, 8 speeds (Stir, Mix, Chop, Blend, Liquify, Puree, and Pulse) and a 6-cup glass jar. I got it home, unpackaged, the instruction sheet wasn’t what you usually find with products, very basic info. The base rather than being a metal is actually a metallic gray plastic, the selector buttons all felt loose, but held when pushed in. (the base hadn’t been plugged in yet). The 6-cup glass jar is heavier than expected, housing a stainless steel 4 prong blade, a sealing ring and threaded jar skirt that fits over the blade and jar, assembled during packaging. After washing now reassembling. You turn the jar upside down with the small opening at the top, place sealing ring over jar opening on the bottom, place blade into jar, then thread the jar nut over blade and jar (Note: You need to see If there are slots on top of collar, they need to be lined up with notches on jar.) Place the threaded jar nut on the jar, turn it clockwise to tighten then place jar assembly onto base. Easy, peasy so far, but now this: You have to take care to line up tabs of jar inside of tab grooves on blender base. Ensuring tabs are firmly secured in jar alignment grooves with the flat part of the tab positioned against the flat side of the groove. Making sure jar is seated firmly into position. Otherwise, liquid will leak out once place on the base. What a mess!!! The key pads have to be presses gently to feel the click of the switch, otherwise the keys seem to get stuck and the machine won’t run. The motor is very noisy and there was a constant smell of something burning when in use, and it didn’t blend or crush ice as expected. I will be returning it for the one I previously had, even though it’s pricier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes a very smooth shake [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this Oster Pulverizing Power Blender for a few weeks now, and it's working fairly well. I mostly use it for my morning protein shakes, and after I figured out the best way to make them, it's done a great job. The unit didn't come with much instruction, or have much instruction online, so I had to do a bit of figuring it out for myself. So start with pulsing your items enough that you can select one of the other buttons to keep the blades turning, and then liquify after a minute, and you should get a really nice smoothie. If you use spinach, it works best to mix it in with the other ingredients, or adding the leaves after things get working, else it could get stuck and not sucked down to the blades. So once you figure the best way to work it, it works great and you get a very smooth smoothie/shake and you won't be disappointed that you got one.

I love it makes my smoothies fine and there are no fruit chunks remaining in the smoothie. It has lots of modes and different speeds. Also it can crush ice very nicely. I like its big glass jar as it is more safe and preferred than plastic.

The blender buttons are easy to push and change for on and off. The pitcher comes off its housing with easy. Cleaning the pitcher is also a breeze with by removing the blade housing. Highly recommend.

It has a very high speed if you want to puree or make smoothies . My breakfast shakes came out very fluffy and creamy the way I like them . It's not overly loud but it's not super quiet .
