Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and powerful [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The automatic functions are a huge time saver and they get it right: the salsa function blends the tomatoes, spices, etc to perfection. Not too thick, and not extremely soupy. I love it. The unit is easy to clean which makes maintenance a breeze. My son doesn't eat veggies besides lettuce, however he loves fruits, so I added spinach and avocado to his fruit smoothie and he drinked it without tasting any trick, lol. The ice was crushed well enough and there were no chunky bits of any of the fruit. There is a cup where you can make quick smoothies, right into it. You just pop the blades and the o ring into it and then screw the black base into it, then pop it right back into the base and make your smoothie. They include a lid for it for easy drinking on the go! Overall, a good experience with Oyster blender.

I locked out and found this oyster blunder 2 in 1 system with a portable cup super convenient and works like a charm. I specifically enjoy the different blunder options like salsa and smoothie. The base is nice and heavy V and I don't have to deal with a vibration on the countertop like I did with another blunder I had of a different brand. Definitely would recommend the salsa option is amazing and top notch.

Having owned a Ninja blender I wasn’t sure if I would like this one as much but it performed really well! The blender itself is glass and is nice and heavy. I made a salsa and smoothies on the first day of having it and everything turned out perfectly. I definitely recommend this blender.

The first thing that I tried was the Salsa auto program. I was super impressed by how perfect the salsa came out - chunky and delicious, evenly mixed. I haven't tried the smoothie program yet but have used it to crush ice for fraps and to make several incredible milkshakes - those come out so good in this blender! It seems very powerful and smart, looks really nice and could not be any easier to use. You can clean the Blend and Go cup and the jar in the dishwasher, so it's really easy to clean. It fits on my counter under my cabinets with plent of cleanance at the top. I think it's a really nice blender, I love it.

I always want healthier options for me and my family so the smoothie button has been very helpful! I make one for me and my toddler every morning. The blend n go cup is also convenient to bring along for our morning walks. The salsa button has been fun to use, my kids love this feature. It makes salsa so easy. The blades and motor are so powerful on this thing. This is a quality product that has been a welcome addition to my kitchen!

My son is addicted to smoothies in the mornings because he’s rather drink then eat and I can’t have him going to school with just hot cocoa in his system. I love the glass pitcher and how it keeps everything cold. Makes salsa a breeze as well which makes my husband happy. The price point is also a positive note. For the quality I’d expect to pay much more. So if you need a new blender grab this one.

I usually dont leave my blenders out bc they stick out really badly, but this one just blends right in with the rest of my kitchen appliances. Second, its one touch interface makes blending with this blender so easy. Its 6 speeds make making my morning smootie is super quick and easy now. I would definitely recommend this blender if you make salsa or smoothies all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddler is a huge fan of smoothies for breakfast, and since I also have a baby, I don’t have much time to spend on making an elaborate breakfast. The Oster 2-in-1 system made making breakfast a breeze! I added cubes of ice to our smoothie ingredients, and this system did a great job of crushing it and I wasn’t left with any chunks of ice. This is so important when giving to my toddler so I’m not worried about her choking on ice chunks. The 2-in-1 system is super easy to clean, and great for making a bunch of smoothies or just one serving. I love the one push button for smoothies and salsas also! It takes the guesswork out of getting the right consistency. While I haven’t had a chance to make a salsa with this system, I’m so excited to try it out soon!

I use a blender almost daily for my morning smoothie and the blend-n-go cup is perfect for taking with me while on-the-go. I haven’t experienced any spills and the cup fits in my cup holder without any problems. This blender is pretty powerful and will easily blend anything from ice to frozen fruit. I love that I am able to keep it on my kitchen countertop without taking up a lot of space. The auto program for smoothies and salsa makes it super quick and easy to use. I recently made homemade salsa in it and it was very easy to do so and my salsa turned out great. It’s dishwasher safe which makes cleanup an easy task. I highly recommend this Oster blender to anyone.

It’s the new design with auto programming durable and dependable as all Oster products are. It’s a 6 cup glass jar with 800 watts and the 2 auto programs. I’ve alway’s owned Oster because of it’s quality items they are the best! I can make my smoothies or salsas all in one and the end result is alway’s perfect. Definitely a must buy!

It has preprogrammed settings for smoothies & salsa, a pulse button, and low, medium, & high buttons. I have not used the salsa setting yet, but I've used the smoothy setting. At first I didn't think it worked well, but I was using large chunks of frozen mango. Once I let them thaw a bit, the blender worked well. Next time I used smaller pieces of fruit and it worked much better. The smoothy setting starts low, stops, then goes to a higher speed then stops and goes again. This also makes milkshakes nicely. What I love most about this blender is that it is glass and easily comes apart to clean it. The base twists off so you can clean the blades and gasket easily. This also came with a travel cup with a lid, which is nice for on the go.

It has amazing variations and has absolutely no trouble blending ice and other things to make the perfect smoothies. I use this almost every single day and it has not given me any problems what so ever. The only thing that i found as a down fall was the weight of the blender itself. it is on the heavy side for a blender i found.

I love that the blender jar is glass. I prefer to use glass rather than plastic for anything that comes into contact with food. I also have a Vitamix, and this performs just as well for smoothies, and it's easier to wash. It comes apart for easy washing. I haven't found anything I don't like about it.

The auto program for smoothies was super simple to use and blended the fruit and ice perfectly. I would definitely recommend this to my friends not only because of the salsa and smoothie auto settings but it also comes with a travel cup.

I love smoothies, and I didn’t have a good blender to use. The blender I had before would leave chunks of fruits and it just wouldn’t blend correctly. It is plastic and it fell ( one time only) and cracked the top clear plastic top. Only part that is cheaply made. Also the screw on the top of the blades is rusting no matter how well I dry it after use. Two small issues that affect overall quality.

Love the image and the color it blended super fast and chopped super quick too. I did not like the lid that much I preferred another type of lod but this one will work it’s super powerful and worth the money!
