Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking to get a new blender and this Oster Easy-to-Use Blender is just what I needed. It's a simple blender and only has four different modes. It's very easy to use, crushes the ice almost instantly and there are no big chunks left behind. I've been using it to make iced coffee, smoothies and milkshakes. They come out perfect every time and I haven't had any issues with liquid coming out of the top, while I'm blending. It's very well made, the glass jar is thick and it looks nice too! It's easy to take apart, to wash and just as easy to put back together. With the weather heating up, I'll definitely be using it a lot more.

I like that the blender jar is just the right size for everyday use. It can fit up to 6 cups and can be used for small and medium quantity. This is the first time I have used a blender jar that is made up of glass. Although, I prefer the use of glass jar over the plastic jars, I have to be really careful while using or washing it. Since, its a glass jar, it has to be handled with care. The machine motor is powerful and blends frozen fruits and ice very well. I use it to make smoothies and purees, and it blends them smoothly. Another feature that I like about this blender, is the removable blade feature. That makes cleaning of blade easy. This is an amazing blender!

It's very easy to use, easy to clean and a snap to put together out of the box. This unit comes with a very spacious and thick 6 cup pitcher container and like most units this has a removable center in the lid to add ingredients as you blend, mix, chop, ect... The only thing that I'm not happy about is the bar that sticks up in the center of the spinning motor that I set the blending pitcher on. It's kind of a hassle to aline the two to start my work on the unit when I'm in a rush. Other than that, this is a great little machine for the kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A powerful mini-workhorse [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a tad skeptical about using a blender with a glass jar, more so because I am clumsy and can easily drop or ding it. However, the jar is surprisingly quite sturdy. I love the fact that it is a 6 cup and is perfect for a small-medium family for daily use. I use it for smoothies, sauces, pastes, etc, and have had no issues at all. I love the fact that it handles tougher chunks like frozen fruit and vegetables with ease too. I do hand wash it though, and this is just me. I'm sure it will hold up fine in the dishwasher but I like increasing the life of my belnders by doing a quick handwash.

I like the oster because of the glass jar top, however this particular model is not up to par with my previous oster that I bought this one to replace, which I had for three years. The motor burnt out on both models. I will not replace thisone with another product from this company. I am currely looking into other companies that offer better warrenties and better product line. The extra cost will be totaly worth it for a product that can actually blen fruits vegtable, nuts, seeds, and grains to fine powders for baking. This one could not even handle a simple vegtable smoothie. Very disappointed. would not recommend to my worst enemy.

It's not overwhelming with too many buttons and functions, but it's very self explanatory and not complicated at all. It makes great shakes and even has a quick and easy recipe on the side of the box. This blender has 5 speeds, including a chop and ice blend button. The ice blends great too. If you aren't into space ship like appliances then this in the blender for you. Easy, not complicated and does a phenomenal job blending. Also, the glass jar is dishwasher safe which is a huge deal to me! Great blender that I definitely recommend.

We got this one as it is a pulverizing blender that has a very strong motor in it. This blender has not given us any issues when blending up our smoothies. The wife makes about 8 smoothies a week for herself and the kid, and I am usually doing 2 or 3 a week myself. Every time, the smoothie has come out with no lumps of ice (we use ice cubes as well as frozen fruit) or fruit which was the case with out old unit. We also like the range of speeds on this blender as our old one only had 3 speeds (low-medium-hi) and a pulse button that was just a momentary hi speed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic disintegrated Used this for a month, maybe 20 times maximum, and the plastic at the bottom of the blender jar just fell apart into many pieces while I was using it. Absolutely cheap crap. Avoid.
