Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! The best blender Ever! Been using this blender now for a week and I Love It! It’s easy to use, clean and most of all it looks so sleek I keep it on my counter. I was shocked at how quiet it is, so I don’t have to worry about waking up my little dog when she’s napping. The Add Water feature wow! I can’t believe this technology to tell me that more water needs to be added. The take along cup is so convenient when I have my early morning shifts at work. I just blend and go! I can’t wait for the summer time to make some nice margaritas. Thankyou Oster you have just made my life easier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Blender with many features! I began trying this blender about one week ago, and I must say, it is the best blender I have ever used. I love it's ability to recognize if more liquid is needed, and also the different settings for your desired consistency. For example, you can select the thickness of what you're preparing, as well as different mode settings depending on what you are making - such as a smoothie in the morning, or a milkshake for dessert. Additionally, this blender is very sleek and modern looking, and sits on my counter, without taking up too much space.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great blender overall, but has issues First the good stuff: This blender is unique in that it reverses the direction of the blade throughout the blending process. I really like how it does this because it helps with the overall mixing of ingredients. The motor is solid and very powerful. I like how the digital screen lets you know about the progress if you have chosen a blending program. It’s very simple and easy to figure out. I love that the clean up of the unit is very quick and easy. All the parts are very simple to take apart for clean up. Everything gets blended nicely on various set programs, though I additionally had to manually run the machine on a few instances to get the consistency I was looking for. Now the bad: In just a few uses of the Blend-N-Go cup, which comes alongside the main blending jar, there is already bad wear and tear on the connecting components (pictures attached). The Blend-N-Go Cup snaps into place with 4 “teeth” on the cup that depress 4 spring loaded plastic pieces when locked into place on the motor base. There seems to be a defect with the plastic pieces on the base because they have deep gouging that is noticeable on the base plastic pieces and on the 4 plastic “teeth” on the blending cup. In examination, this could be caused by the plastic on the base being too soft and mailable; or from the resonance, vibration and back and forth motion of the blending process; or perhaps the die cut of the teeth are too sharp for the base; or it could be from an improper leveling of the cup after twisting on the blade assembly (which appears not to be 100% level and is perhaps a defect in the cup itself). I have followed all instructions and have not forced the appliance in any way other than how the manual describes proper operation. Additionally, when the Blend-N-Go cup locks into the base, the digital screen does not change from the Blending Jar mode to the Blend-N-Go cup setting unless I manually depress the cup itself (see video). This is not how it’s supposed to operate. It should change on its own, once locked into place. Aside from the cup issues, the vibration of the blender can be so great at times that it can easily slide off the countertop if you don’t hold on to it. The rubber feet don’t do enough to keep the unit in place. I have tried on two different surfaces and with both the Blending Jar and Blend-N-Go cup and in both instances the vibration of the blending process resonates to the base itself and the whole unit starts to move about the countertop. That’s very frustrating and makes it unsafe if you don’t pay attention (and hold on) during the blending process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small home appliance you don't want to miss! I used it for a week and love it! It is a new addition to my kitchen and quickly it becomes essential to my daily routine. I tried to make smoothies and it's delicious, I haven't been to JusGoJus since. I made potage and my family loves it! The blender has good size capacity and its very robust. It is very quite. Easy to clean, can put in dishwasher. Nice design, fits perfectly in my kitchen. It tell you if there is not enough water. How smart! Can't go with out it now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Blender I've had this blender about a week now and have used it daily for healthy smoothies as part of my New Years resolution goals. It blends smoothly and does not leave any chunks or grit and is quiet as well. The blender is a good size, and nice that they included a blend and go cup as well which is great for making my smoothing and then drinking it on the way to work. You can set your desired consistancy and it will tell you if it needs more liquid which is super convienient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fancy!! The ActiveSense blender is so neat to use. When it senses ice, it automatically pulses to pulverize it. I love the smart settings on the menu where I can choose what food I am making and what consistency. It's really easy to use because you just put the ingredients in the 2L container and then press play. I really like that you can see the progress of the blending process (60% etc.) So far I have used it to make soups and smoothies. I did notice that I was not able to fill the blender more than a quarter full when using hot liquids because it makes a huge mess, but that has been the only drawback so far. The brushed nickel is really beautiful and I also love how you can remove the blades to use the to go cup. This makes for easy cleaning. It feels like a really fancy blender and I have been enjoying finding more and more uses for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In one word - WOW I've been searching for the ideal blender for a while now (as my girlfriend wasn't convinced we really needed one) and came across this blender a week ago. We used it right away and absolutely LOVE it! The instructions are very straight forward, and both assembly and cleaning are simple and easy. Smoothies have been our favourite so far (flavour experimentation galore). All the little details is what sold us on this one, and it doesn't disappoint! The "food mode" program selection has quite a variety of pre-set beverage and food options, which allows us to blend what we want to the consistency we like (auto adjusting the blade speed as needed) with progress stat to boot! The only con would be the single, very big (750 ml) to-go cup, 2 smaller to-go blender cups would have been the ideal. To be honest, we're a little in-love with this blender!
